The enthusiasm and desire to again finally meet face to face that characterized the ninth edition of Made in Steel was also validated by the "Customer Satisfaction" questionnaire, proposed and certified by the research institute GRS s.r.l.. In addition to the quantitative data (over 13,000 attendees representing 68 countries), the success of Made in Steel 2021 was also confirmed by the opinion of exhibitors, buyers and visitors alike, visiting the halls of Fieramilano Rho between 5th and 7th October.

80% of those present were satisfied with their participation in the event and 86% expressed the desire to return in 2023. For 71.4% of those who took part in the survey, it was important to participate in Made in Steel. Moreover, figures have increased considerably compared to Made in Steel 2019.

THE NUMBERS IN DETAIL

80% of respondents said they were satisfied with the three-day steel event: in particular, 87% of foreigners and 80% of Italians expressed their satisfaction. Moreover, the satisfaction of those who had already taken part in a previous edition (the " historical" participants) and those who were attending Made in Steel for the first time ranged from 79.7% to 78.3%, respectively.

The answers regarding the desire to return were also decidedly positive. 86% of the sample declared their willingness to attend Made in Steel 2023, up by almost four percentage points compared to 2019 (82.8%). In particular, it is the " historical" participants who show the highest desire (92%).

Made in Steel is also considered an "important" event by 71.4% of respondents, namely by 70% of Italians and 75% of foreigners, by 75% of those who have already attended, and by 65% at their first participation.

These figures demonstrate the success of an event that was only apparently adversely affected by the pandemic and, above all, Made in Steel's ability to continue to grow event after event, meeting the international steel community's need to meet and exchange ideas. An opportunity to pave the way for steel Renaissance, creating a system under the banner of sustainability and innovation.
