After the success of ACCIAIO 4.0 (STEEL 4.0), the first Italian call for innovation in the steel industry that was held last September during innovA – The convention of innovation in the steel industry, Made in Steel and Digital Magics are proud to launch the contest MADE IN STEEL 2019 - STEEL ON STAGE . The competition aims at finding new products and services with the right potential to innovate the steel industry and, at the same time, to be environmentally sustainable.
The reference business areas are:
- Production innovation: technologies, monitoring systems, data management...
- Sustainability: emissions and energy consumption reduction, waste management, circular economy...
- Human resources: continuing education, research of new professional skills, safety…
- Product: new ways to transform the raw materials, industrial design, art…
You can submit your application at https://innovation.madeinsteel.it by no later than 14 April 2019. The best startups and SMEs, selected by a panel of experts, are going to have the possibility to talk about their projects during Made in Steel 2019 to a qualified public, to European and international decision makers in the steel industry, from production to distribution. The jury will then award a reward of 5,000 Euros to the most innovative startup or SME.
